Maplewood is now able to effectively and efficiently provide these notifications through a system called CodeRED. CodeRED emergency notification service delivers a high volume of calls in a fast and efficient manner in order to notify the community quickly and give specific instructions.
This service is user-friendly, as residents can monitor and change their contact information as necessary. For example, if a resident would rather be notified of an emergency on their cellular phone, they can log on and make such a revision.
